E-mail Claiming to Be From the Federal Reserve
 
Individuals and/or companies are receiving fraudulent emails that have the appearance of being sent from the Federal Reserve. Specifically, the email claims to be from the Federal Reserve Wire Network and appears to be sent from “fedwire@federalreserve.gov,” “alert@federalreserve.gov,” or “information@federalreserve.gov.”   See a sample below.

The Sweet Home FCU was recently notified of a recent increase in test transactions from the website for Napster, that has resulted in fraud in various locations both domestic and international. We are advising our members to watch for any suspicious activity when dealing with this company. If you feel that your debit card was compromised, call the credit union immediately.
